Bartosz Staniszewski, b. 1995 - conductor
He has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Kraków, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, the Corda Cracovia Orchestra, the Polish Camerata Chamber Orchestra, the PKF–Prague Philharmonia, the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Metz, and the Rzeszów Philharmonic Orchestra, where he served as resident conductor during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
He has further enriched his experience by conducting the ensembles of the Kraków Opera, Filarmonica de Stat Târgu Mureș, the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, and the orchestras of the Łódź Philharmonic, Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok, Opole Philharmonic, Zielona Góra Philharmonic, and the Warsaw Philharmonic, where he serves as Assistant Conductor in the 2025/2026 season.
He has refined his skills by participating in numerous masterclasses given by renowned maestros, including Jacek Kaspszyk, Vladimir Kiradjiev, Paweł Przytocki, George Tchitchinadze, Colin Metters, Daniel Oren, Mark Laycock, Marin Alsop, Michalis Economou, David Reiland, and Lawrence Foster.
He is the founder and conductor of the Kraków Ardente Orchestra, established in 2015.
He made his conducting debut in June 2014, leading the premiere performance of his original symphony during a school year-end concert at the Kraków Philharmonic Hall.
From 2014 to 2019, he studied symphonic conducting under Prof. Rafał Jacek Delekta at the Academy of Music in Kraków, graduating with honors. He is also a graduate of the F. Chopin State Secondary School of Music in Kraków, where he studied violin under Prof. Anna Rychlik.
